MLA Singh's Private Member's Bill, Bill 205, the Genocide Remembrance, Condemnation and Prevention Month Act was passed by the Alberta Legislature on March 22, 2021 and received Royal Assent on March 26, 2021.

Motion 510, as moved by MLA Singh was carried by the Alberta Legislature on April 13, 2026, urging the Government to declare September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
